Summer is a perfect time to get your kids involved in learning an instrument.
PIANO tends to be the most recommend choice to any child usually ages four and beyond can learn how to read music and count, learn coordination of both hands and gain confidence in playing music they enjoy and can relate to.
As a PRIVATE PIANO teacher, I always recommend that parents try out several teachers including myself until you find the right fit and the perfect combination of personality mix so your child can learn the most.
-Never stay with any teacher who is rude or abusive to you or your children. This seems obvious but you would not believe the stories I have, even this past week of an old lady who yells and screams at her young students. This is wrong behavior and should NOT be tolerated.
-Stay with teachers who allow you to have an ongoing open dialogue so if there is an issue and or problem it can be resolved quickly.
I have also posted a blog for your review which lists all types of Music Teachers so if your child is taking a band instrument at school, you can hire a private teacher for virtually any instrument to enhance their learning.
